Banana choc slice
Ingredients
415g banana
115g soft butter
150g brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
210g plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
65g chopped pecans
175g milk chocolate chips
175g raisins
80g chopped dates
Method:
Preheat oven to 170 C, grease, and line your 9.5 “ square tray.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and creamy.
Add egg and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture until well mixed. Add nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, and mashed banana.
Pour mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted is clean.
Melt 250g of milk chocolate over a bain marie and pour onto your cooled cake.
Let the chocolate set, slice
